HaleyScheduling and Benefits Coordinator Hello, and welcome to Growing Smiles! My name is Haley, and I have been the scheduling and benefits coordinator since 2007. I love working with all of the amazing families we see every day. It's such a joy to see the big, bright, happy smiles on the faces of all our young patients after they've received treatment. Dr. Henderson is a very caring and compassionate pediatric dentist, and it's simply wonderful being a part of her team. I am a native of Lawrence, KS (Kansas). My husband and I have been married for just over two years, and we enjoy taking our dogs on walks and visiting our family. In my spare time, I also enjoy traveling, shopping, collecting books and magazines, and participating in local volunteer activities such as Light the Night Walk, Relay for Life, the Children's Mercy Miracle Network, and Alex Lemonade Stand. 
MaryNew Patient Care Coordinator Hi, my name is Mary, and I am the new patient care coordinator at Growing Smiles! It's a pleasure to welcome you and your family to Growing Smiles, and as your new patient care coordinator, it is my goal to make sure that you have a comfortable, fun, rewarding experience. I have been working with Dr. Henderson since 2007. I enjoy working with children and the excitement that they bring to each appointment. Originally from Kansas City, MO (Missouri), my family and I have lived in Lawrence since 2000. I have a husband and three wonderful children. In my spare time I enjoy antiquing and estate sale shopping - you never what treasures you will find! I am also an avid KU football fan, Go Jayhawks! 
KimClinical Coordinator Welcome! I am Kim, and I am a clinical coordinator at Growing Smiles. I have worked in the field of dentistry since 2000, and with Dr. Henderson in 2007. I love working in a practice that focuses on treating children! There's always something new to learn, and each day is never the same. I truly enjoy talking with the children and sharing funny stories and tons of smiles. I live here in Lawrence along with my fiancé, Tyler, and my son, Tucker. In my free time, I enjoy sewing, participating in 4-H, sports and outdoor activities with my son, and playing coed dodge ball! 
AngelaClinical Assistant Hi there! My name is Angela, and I am a dental assistant for Dr. Henderson. I have been working in the field of dentistry since 1999, and I joined the Growing Smiles team in 2008. I enjoy working with Dr. Henderson, and I appreciate her caring, sensitive nature. I love working with kids, and helping to educate them and their parents about oral hygiene and keeping their teeth and smiles healthy! I am originally from Dallas, TX (Texas), and moved to Lawrence in 2008. When I am away from the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, Jeramiah, Justice, Avery, and Zoie; as well as, traveling and indulging in my favorite treat - Mexican food! Sherrie Clinical Assistant Welcome to Growing Smiles; my name is Sherrie and I am a clinical assistant for Dr. Henderson. I have been working in the dental field since 1998 and with Dr. Henderson since 2009. I enjoy everything about working here at Growing Smiles. From Dr. Henderson's outgoing, gentle, and fun personality, to being able to help a child maintain a healthy, beautiful smile, every day I look forward to the wonderful smiles that come and go from our practice. I am originally from Bixby, OK, and had lived in Oklahoma all my life up until 2009 when I moved to Kansas. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, David, and my children Shelbie (14), and Jordan (16). I also love watching movies, going shopping, and I believe that, well, if the shoe fits, then buy it in ever color! 
AmyScheduling Coordinator Hi, my name is Amy, and as your scheduling coordinator, I am so excited to welcome you to Growing Smiles! I have been working in the field of dentistry since 2006, and just recently joined Dr. Henderson and the team in 2009. I truly enjoy being a part of the Growing Smiles team. Everybody working at this practice has a happy, loving personality, the office atmosphere is warm, and inviting, it's simply a perfect place for children and families! As for myself, I live here in Lawrence with my fiancé, Logan. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, selling jewelry, playing volleyball, and being the Kansas University Jayhawks' biggest basketball fan! Kristal Dental Assistant Hi there, my name's Kristal! I'm so excited to welcome you to our practice! I have been a dental assistant for Dr. Henderson since 2009, and am currently a student at KU. Working in dentistry with Dr. Henderson is such a wonderful experience. She is so great with kids, even the ones who are at first afraid if being at the dentist leave with big smiles on their faces! I love the challenge that each day brings, and I look forward to helping kids achieve good health and happy smiles. I am originally from Hutchinson, and moved to Lawrence in 2006. I have two sisters, and an adorable nephew! In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies and reading mystery novels. I will be a senior at KU in 2009, and I plan to attend dental school after graduating in 2010. |
